Planning is underway for a potential aviation and industrial development on approximately 14 acres of county-owned land in St. Mary’s County, focused on future hangar space and flexible industrial facilities.
A preliminary concept plan has been submitted for county review, laying the groundwork for long-term growth in the AeroPark Innovation District. MEDCO is coordinating additional topographic and utility studies and developing a comprehensive master phasing plan that includes budget and schedule alignment. Serving as a member of the AeroPark Innovation District Advisory Board, MEDCO is helping guide strategic development that positions the site for future aviation-related investment and economic opportunity in the region.
